this is the best tena i have ever spent , i have a henry hoover and im on my knees for hours with it trying to get pet hair up ,, wow this instantly picked up every hair !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to sell them ....

Before buying this I didn't really hold out much hope of it actually picking up much or making much of a difference, but I can honestly say it was the best £10 I've ever spent. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
It picks up really well and fluffs the carpets up (granted, not as much as my dyson) but for a quick tidy up in between my weekly hoovering it does the job perfectly. My husband actually thought I'd hoovered the house as it leaves that 'just hoovered' look on your carpets.
I'd definitely recommend this, not to replace a proper hoover, but to keep your floors tidy when you can't be bothered to haul the heavy dyson out of the cupboard just for a few bits of fluff or crumbs. And, of course, to fool your husband into thinking you've just spent an hour hoovering the whole house when actually you were sat with a cuppa and box of biscuits watching Corrie!

I have pets in cages. They throw out their hay and sawdust all over my lounge. It walks everywhere.
My vacuum cleaner wouldn't pick up the sawdust from my carpet and I couldn't use it at unsociable hours because of the neighbours. The Bissell Carpet Mate just eats up everything and I can use it anytime! It's really, really good. Picks up everything (except at edges of walls)

I have two children, one being a toddler who likes to throw crumbs and tiny bits of paper EVERYWHERE. I bought this because I was sick of getting my huge Dyson out all the time. The Carpet Mate is so much better than I anticipated; it picks up all the tiny crumbs and even picks up dust. In fact I would go as far to say that it's BETTER than my old Dyson vacuum I'm just about to get rid of! It's also great on hard kitchen floors - no more dustpan and brush for me! Also good for the kids to get involved in cleaning - my toddler now wants to clean his mess himself! Great investment. I might treat myself to the £24.95 sweeper on here!
